Dr Luke Roberts has extensive experience across the commercial, voluntary, and public sectors, giving him a unique perspective on how organisations operate both independently and together. His work focuses on using systems thinking and complexity theory to uncover challenges, reframe problems, and identify opportunities for change.
Currently completing a PhD at Cambridge University, Luke’s research explores how power and relationships shape organisational life. He also holds a Masters in Educational Research, a degree in Politics and Law, and completed the Legal Practice Course before turning his focus from law to systems change. His career has included national research with the Youth Justice Board into violence reduction and conflict resolution, as well as pioneering approaches to restorative justice and community resilience. His book Leading Schools and Sustaining Innovation was published by Routledge in 2024.
